sleep...its what i do best

Here I am snoozing in my beach tent in the cool ocean air. Sound asleep with no hope of waking up. I couldn't even make myself wake up while playing in the waves with Dad. Mom thinks this is just the sweetest pic ever.

cousins in crime

Kaitlyn, Jasmene, Mom and Me... breaking in vacation with a nightly walk on the beach. My first trip out on the sand and I was out like a light before we even got off the walkway. My "cousin in crime" Kaitlyn on the other hand had a great time putting her toes in the warm waves. I can't wait to see what we get to do tomorrow...hopefully I'll stay awake for the fun.

beach or bust...

Traveling Babies R' Us set out at 7am this morning headed for Myrtle Beach. I'm so excited to see what this "ocean thing" is all about. After 3 pull overs to eat and one huge melt down we finally arrived. It is going to be a fun week spent with my family.

rainy day visit

Oh what a fun day! Today my Na Na and Great Grandma Fania came down to visit mind the rain storm. We had such a good time playing on my mat and in my crib. Grandma sang me to sleep in the rocker...what a perfect way to end their visit.

7 weeks old

Today is my 7 weeks old birthday and here I am doing my second favorite thing behind eating. Mom and Dad are proud to report that I am growing big and strong. I am already up to 13.5 pounds and show no sign of stopping anytime soon.

sweet dreams

I'm officially a big boy today, I took my first "real" nap in my crib. I loved watching the little fish swim around and hear the bubble sounds.

You've heard the story of three little monkeys jumping on the bed, but what about jumping on the couch? My poor buddy Logan found out the hard way what it could get ya... a pretty blue cast for 6 weeks. We went over to visit and took him a new Veggie Tales movie, here is a pic of us enjoying it. Get better soon Logan!

To help celebrate Mom's birthday Pop and Nanny Satterfield came down to visit. I love when they are here because I get showered with hugs and kisses.

me and my na na

Thanks to my Na Na for coming and taking care of me and Mommy this past week. Mommy was sick for a few days and needed a little extra help giving me all the TLC that I needed. Na Na takes full advantage of all the "baby love" that she can soak in. I especially like it because she gives me surprises on my paci... I'm already a southern boy who loves his sweet tea!

Today Fisher came over to play with me and my new play mat. I think Fishy had more fun than I did, I slept through the whole thing.

one month doctor visit

We went to see Dr Anita this week to see how much I've grown and boy have I... I was born weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces and now I'm a whopping 11pounds. You could say that I love to eat. I am now 2 and 1/4 inches longer putting me at 22 1/4. They said that I looked perfect and to keep up the good work. I did have to get a shot though, Dad stayed by my side while Mom teared up in the corner. I took it like a big boy and only cried for a second while sporting my Bugs Bunny band-aid.

changing every day

I'm officially one month old now! Mom and Dad have had so much fun watching all my new faces we thought we would share a few. I am changing more and more every day. I have started to follow voices, babble and turn my head every which a way. I have found my tongue and love to stick it out. :) My new favorite thing is to watch the ceiling fan go round and round.
