"turtle beach"

For the past month I've been so excited that we are soon to be beach bound with all my cousins and family that I just can't hide it. Mama is so tired of saying "No, not today." when I ask EVERY SINGLE DAY if today is beach day so we made a pull off countdown calendar for the refrigerator. We are heading to Myrtle Beach this Saturday for an entire week of fun in the sun...I can't wait!! I've insisted on wearing my beach themed pajamas as many nights as possible in preparation. They have surfing turtles on them that I think are so funny. They say "Hang Ten at Turtle Beach" so Myrtle Beach is official renamed Turtle Beach as far as I'm concerned.

baby update.

After weeks of wondering who is coming to our house in a few months we found out that it's going to be my new baby SISTER!! We are all so super excited! We're excited to announce that her name is Miss Presley Glenn! Mama of course has already been busy looking at all things pink, girlie and glittery. She is already kicking around in Mama's belly but I'm too impatient to wait around to feel it. I do however LOVE singing to her, ABC's and Jesus Loves Me are her favorites so far. I also think it is so funny to give her raspberry kisses right on Mama's belly button. I just can't wait until she gets here to play with her...hurry up Presley, I have all the toys waiting!

busy, busy...busy.

Things around the Glenn household have been pretty busy lately and I am so sorry for not updating sooner. Well, for starters I'm full speed ahead from the time I wake up until bedtime with a quick pit stop for a nap somewhere in there. Between enjoying the beautiful weather by blowing bubbles and playing at the park to keeping the roads warm going from here to there I'm all over the place. So busy that Mama jsut sees a "blur" of me running by...no time for pictures, I've got playing to do. Here is a rare shot of me being still...well actually this is "mid hiding"! As soon as I hear Daddy's car pull into the driveway I run to find the BEST hiding spot possible. This day is was to dump Mama's basket of folded laundry to get under the basket (Mama was so excited for this one!).

coming soon.

Introducing the newest Glenn member! I hope you can see Percy better than I can, I turned the picture over and over looking for a baby but all I saw was a blur. Blur or not, we already love you Percy!

big...

I'M GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!!! Yep, I'm as surprised as you are...I thought I'd be the only "golden child" forever! (just kidding) Mommy is 13 weeks along so our new little one will be here in early October, just in time to help me get more candy while Trick or Treating...who can resist a cute little baby? I'm kinda following the fact that there is a baby in Mommy's belly, I give it a kiss every morning and night and am ALWAYS asking it to come out and play with me. I've already named the baby in case you were wondering...Percy! Percy is my favorite Thomas the Tank engine so I thought the name was only fitting. Daddy keeps saying that soon I'll be able to feel it wiggle and kick and I'm all to excited for it to begin. Woo Hoo for another Glenn!

happy birthday daddy.

Who doesn't love a great birthday party...especially one given by a 2 year old who loves monkeys! Mama let me plan the whole thing and it went something like this...lots of balloons, monkey plates, red forks, red streamers, party hats, red napkins, monkey gift wrap, monkey hat for Daddy and a red monkey shirt for me. I hope you loved your party as much as I love you Daddy! Happy 30th Birthday!

lil' kickers.

For the past few weeks I've been having the best time with all my new friends playing soccer. I absolutely love it! We are learning a lot of foot and eye coordination skills which I love to practice all week long. I have to admit that my favorite part of practice is the end, not because I'm ready to leave but because we get stamps! We all sit on our circles with our hands on our heads and Coach comes by and gives us a huge soccer ball on each hand. I am always so careful the entire day to not let them get washed off. Watch out Carlos Bocanegra, I'm after your job!

"the cape"

Who knew a pillowcase could bring SO MUCH joy to my night. I've started embracing this whole superhero thing (all because of my footed & caped Batman pjs) . I love screaming Na Na Na Na...Batman! as I race around the house with my arms stretched out flying. During my nightly wrestling match with Daddy I thought it was time for him to meet...EYEBALL MAN! (Yep, my eyeball obsession is still hanging around)

monday.

Legos and waffles...what a beautiful start to the week.

2011.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
I hope everyone had as great of a party ringing in 2011 as Kaitlyn and I did. Our families have spent the last 3 years celebrating together and this has "officially" been the best yet! Katie Bug and I planned on staying up until midnight (our parents didn't know about our master plan) but after a day of playing we only made it until 8pm. We made the most of our "confetti drop" with noise makers, beads, hats, tons of confetti and even snuck in a little kiss for good luck in the new year.

moo.

I'm sorry to report that there isn't many Christmas photos to share, we were having too much fun enjoying everything to pull out the camera. Here is one of my favorite presents that made the pictures though....my cow! Big Mac (that's his name) enjoys car rides, coloring, bubble baths, looking at Christmas lights and eating Hummus. I'd say he has had a pretty fun week so far.
Thank you to all my family and friends who made this Christmas extra special, I enjoyed every single second of it. I love you all!

for santa.

Dear Santa, I am very sorry that I am so scared of you. I love seeing you on TV and in books, but not in person. My motto is "No Ho Ho Ho!", no offense. I hope you love my new "special" cookies, they are full of red sprinkles to make up for being Gluten free...Enjoy! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Love, Parker
