batman and robin

Enough with all the girlie stuff...THIS is what boys do! If there is a toy to play with or a snack to eat me and my sidekick will be there.

Car rides are always the best time to create new fun. I loved singing into my pail, it made the funniest sound coming back out.

dream jump

Today Dad and Mama surprised me with a special trip to the inflatable playhouse. At first I didn't quite know what to think of all the bouncing, but after watching kids have such a good time I was all about it! I think my favorite part was the big slides. At first I needed a little help from Mama and Dad, but then they let me do it by myself (a little one of course). I was kinda nervous and then thought it was SO funny! That place ROCKED, I had a blast!

oh no...the doctor

THIS is what "thrilled" looks like when you're going to the doctor! Yep, the time has come once again...I think I see Dr Morgan WAY TOO MUCH as is! So today was my 1 year check up, better late than never I guess. Well everything started out pretty good...me and Mama played with all the fun toys and had a little snack while we waited. But then it all went down hill from there. The nurse took us back and measured me...I grew a whole 2 inches since last time, I'm now a super tall 31.5 (90-95%)and weighed in at 23.11 lbs (50-75%). After Mama answered tons of questions the doc came in with all her "torture tools" to look over every inch of my body it seemed. After a few outbursts and a clean bill of health I was A Okay...I thought! That's when I heard the news from the nurse...a finger prick and a shot in EACH arm. The finger prick was the worse...I saw it coming the whole time and couldn't do a thing about it except scream. Usually I just scream for a second and then I'm okay, not this time...REAL tears came out. Next Mama held me as tight as she could and the nurse got me. With Tweety bird band-aids on each arm and a funny fabric one on my finger we were all done. I heard Mama call and tell Daddy that this was the worse visit yet. I'm pretty sure because my tears and "real" pain broke Mama's heart. On a better note, at least I have a few months before I go back...at this rate Mama NEEDS backup next time.

drumsticks and pumpkins

Today could pretty much be wrapped into those two little words...drumsticks and pumpkins! I think that every inch of our house was banged on today by my caterpillar drumstick. I would NOT put it down for anything...not for breakfast, lunch or my nap. Mama tried to take it out of my hand while I was sleeping and she said that I opened my eyes, gave her a mean look and began to yell...she gave it back and said I fell right asleep. So pumpkin you ask!?!? Well while cleaning out the "junk room" closet we came across last year's Halloween bucket and needless to Say I "trick or treated" every little thing I could find. EVERYTHING and I mean everything went into my bucket today, and those things that wouldn't fit got a good yelling at by me. I loved filling it up and then dumping it out to admire all my "treats". If Halloween is as half this fun then I can't wait.

just me

Notice the "rough and tough" big boy bruise on my head...I decided that tackling the bookshelf was a good idea...it wasn't! Right after the "attack" a huge goose egg and purple bruise popped up...it lasted a few days and then left me with this really cool battle wound. I have found out that if you have a boo boo more girls give you attention, I'll have to remember that for when I'm bigger.

pine straw

Who needs toys when I go to Lolli and Grandad's...just take me outside to find "treasures"! Now that I can walk around EVERYTHING outside is more fun. While exploring I found PINE STRAW! I absolutely loved it, I could have spent all day make their flower bed "pretty".

britt britt

This past week my cousin Brittany came to spend a few nights with us. Mama said she was such a big help in taking care of me, but of course she wouldn't have any part in "diaper duty". I loved watching all the big kid things that she could do...swim and do flips underwater, go down the big slide at the water park, play games at the arcade (that's where she got the fun teeth), but especially watching her look funny playing the Wii. I hope she had as much fun as I did. I love you Britt Britt!

It's always more fun when a buddy comes to play...especially Adam. His Mommy and Daddy dropped him off at my house for a few hours and we made the most of every second. We ate lunch, played with my toys, and went for a wagon ride. I'm pretty sure this was Adam's first wagon ride, he loved it as much as I do. I was such a good boy that I even shared my sippy cup...that's what friends are for!
