home sweet home
One last lollipop, a super sticky face and my Elmo pumpkin...a perfect ending to my perfect day!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE GLENN FAMILY!
trick or treat
Today is the day...Halloween! No matter how wet and cold it is, nothing is going to come between me and my candy! Lolli, Daddy, Mama and me set out to fill my bucket full of yummy treats. Me and Daddy had a little pep talk, it went something like this..."Get Daddy lots and lots of candy!" And thats just what I did!
Grandad and Raleigh had fun of their own handing out candy to out trick or treaters...we had everything from princesses to pirates to super heros. The best part is that when we returned home there was still candy left in the bowl...double the fun...just what me and Daddy like!
animal crackers
We all braved the rain for Jefferson's Trick or Treat on the Square. Kaitlyn and I were a box of animal crackers, minus the box...rain and paper do not mix. We were happy as can be as long as we had lollipops in hand.
candy train
I'm one special little boy with all these people who love me! Na Na and Pop Pop traded sticky kisses for a bag full of Halloween goodies. Granny and Paw Paw filled my Elmo bucket with lots of lollipops and topped it off with a pumpkin man...all this fun and Halloween is still a day away.
leaves
Of course me and Pop "had" to take advantage of all the leaves in their yard...they were calling my name!
candy
Let the fun of Halloween begin! Friday we went to Jefferson to Trick or Treat with all my grandparents...first stop on the candy train was Pop and Nanny's. Great Nanny Hamilton even joined in all the "sticky" fun. Everyone knows the way to my heart is with lollipops!
little procter's
Fisher and Macy were too funny in Mama's pink hair, I on the other hand wanted NOTHING to do with it.
painting
Who needs a carving knife when you have finger paint? We went over to Fisher's house this week to decorate pumpkins and boy did we have fun. A few words of wisdom...blue paint does not taste good.
my cup
I'm telling ya...I'm OBSESSED with these cups! The Quick Trip cup is by far my favorite! Let me tell you why...it's clear so I can see what I put inside it, it fits nicely on my arm, my ball fits inside, it has a little edge on the rim that is great for holding between my teeth, it's the biggest cup so I can stack more cups inside it and it makes a really fun noise when I crinkle it! I think everyone should have a cup, it may just make your day or nap a little brighter!
band aids
Well I made it through another one! The whole car ride I tried to get those silly band aids off...without any luck! As soon as I was home though I went to work pulling them off! I CAN'T STAND THOSE THINGS! I tried getting Raleigh to help to make things go faster, but he didn't quite understand. Now all I need is a little Tylenol and a good nap and I'll be good as new.
busy
This was the only time that I actually didn't mind staying in the doctor's office...I had SO MUCH FUN! I crawled on chairs...under chairs...rolled in the doctor's chair...opened every cabinet that wasn't locked...climbed in the empty ones...looked out the window...played with the door handle...tried to make a run out the door...read every story book on the table...cleaned out my diaper bag looking for toys...and all under 15 minutes! Me and Mama were having the best time playing and then she came...DOCTOR MORGAN! Aghh! I really don't understand why she has to ruin my fun with all her poking! After a few kicks and screams she was out the door and back to my playing I went...until the nurse showed back up. Mama realized that I'm just a little too big and a little too strong for the "old way" of holding me down, its now turned into full force! Alligator tears and four shots later we were out the door...with a sticker and lollipop of course!
waiting room fun
So back to the doctor's office we went... This time I was feeling MUCH better and enjoyed myself in the waiting room with their toys and Halloween decorations. I surprised Mama and the nurse with my happy attitude even while she gave me a check up. I now weigh 24.5lbs (I lost a little bit while being sick) and am 33 1/4 inches tall. Daddy will be happy to know that I am now in the 95th plus percent! At this rate I'm sure to get a basketball goal for Christmas...DUKE here I come!
The doctor was a whole other story though...
i'm ready...
This is me from this morning...sitting on the couch with my new obsession (plastic cups) watching tv. Mama just started laughing at me, why? Because the tv wasn't even on! Well, I'm not allowed to play with the remote, so how else am I going to tell you that I wanted to watch Yo Gabba Gabba?
